OMG, being a think & do tank recognized for its focus on economic and business development through the creation of knowledge and consulting services, through f.red trains and facilitates the connection of highly qualified profiles in business management bodies, taking advantage of its vast experience in corporate governance projects, with the aim of generating a significant social impact.

 

Through the Instituto OMG and with the collaboration of the Centro de Estudios Garrigues, we have designed an academic offer for governance management, which provides a strategic and holistic vision adapted to the business reality of the Dominican Republic, contributing ethically and effectively to the success of participants as future members of management bodies.

 

By registering you will begin an application and selection process, and you will have the opportunity to belong to the f.red Directory (benefit included when opting for our training program). Once admitted, our team will actively explore market opportunities to connect with companies in various industries in the country.

Steps to follow

f.red Training Registration: Complete the online registration form, uploading the required documentation. When we have received the form and documentation we will complete the pre-selection process, we will send you a confirmation email so you can proceed with the payment*.

f.red Training: By taking our academic offering you will have access to modules on regulatory framework, environmental, social and governance (ESG) aspects, finance for directors, risk management, strategic decision making, legal intelligence, and counseling skills. Once you complete the f.red Training program you will receive a certificate of participation issued by the Instituto OMG.

 

Once the f.red Training process has been successfully completed, you will be registered in the f.red Directory and the identification and matchmaking stage will begin.**

f.red Directory: When you join our connection and support network, an interview will be carried out to discuss your interests, followed by a compatibility analysis between your profile and business needs. Our team will actively explore market opportunities to connect your profile with companies in various industries in the country, accompanying you throughout the entire process.

* Payment is necessary to guarantee your place and will cover the cost of being part of the f.red Directory, once you have completed the f.red Training process.

 

**Those who meet the pre-established requirements, as determined by the f.red team, may join the f.red Directory directly once the corresponding payment is completed. We encourage all candidates to complete the f.red Training process for updating purposes.

  • I am currently out of the labor market, can I join f.red?
    Yes, you can complete the training program for updating purposes and be part of the f.red Directory.

  • What is the cost of the training program?

  • What is the cost for a company to recruit a member of the f.red Directory?
    The cost is variable; to define it, the compensation offered by the organization for this role is evaluated.
  • I have carried out other training programs for Board of Directors members. Can I apply to f.red?
    Of course, however, we have designed the training program considering new trends in corporate governance and the current requirements of companies.
  • What will be the times and days of classes?
    For the first cohort the days and times of classes would be: Wednesday, September 11 - 9:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 18 - 9:00 A.M. - 12:30 P.M. Wednesday, September 25 - 9:00 A.M. - 12:30 P.M. Wednesday, October 2 - 9:00 A.M. - 12:30 P.M. Wednesday, October 9 - 9:00 A.M. - 12:30 P.M. Wednesday, October 16 - 11:00 A.M. - 12:30 P.M.   • Will a certificate of participation be awarded?
    Yes, to obtain the certificate that guarantees completion of the program, it is required to participate in 100% of the classes. If you are absent from any of the classes, it must be taken with a next edition of the program.
  • What is the purging process for these members?
    To refine the candidates, psychometric evaluations, screening interviews are carried out, and the academic and professional training of the profile is verified.
  • Is it necessary to complete the training to be on the f.red Directory?
    The f.red Directory is a benefit that is included when being part of the training, however, you can also opt exclusively to subscribe to it, as long as you meet the application requirements.
  • What are the requirements to be part of the f.red Directory?
    To be part of the f.red Directory the following is required: - Academic training at the postgraduate level. - Have completed a training program for members of the Board of Directors or have previous experience in this role. - Relevant professional experience.
  • When does the training program start?
    The training program begins on September 11, 2024.
  • Are the classes in person or virtual?
    Classes will be in person. Any virtual class will be notified in advance. If you are absent from any of the classes, it must be taken with a next edition of the program.
  • Are there any costs associated with my placement on a Board?
    No, once you complete the training you enter the Directory and have the opportunity to be placed at no additional cost. If you choose only to belong to the directory, you would only incur the subscription cost.
