Graduated magna cum laude from Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM), Santo Domingo in 1996, she obtained a Master in Corporate Law and Economic Legislation from the same university in 1998. She also completed a Master in European Union Law at Universidad Carlos III, Madrid, Spain (2000) and postgraduate studies at Universidad Complutense de Madrid (2000). She specializes in corporate and commercial practice, with experience in issues related to mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, contract engineering, tax, corporate governance, finance and European Union law. She is also a member of the IBA (International Bar Association), arbitrator assigned to the Chamber of Commerce of Santo Domingo, and Judicial Interpreter. She has been recognized by international legal practice directories: Chambers Global, Chambers Latin America, Legal 500 and IFLR1000. She has collaborated with the international publication Getting the Deal Through, with the Acquisition Finance chapter for the Dominican Republic, as well as with IFLR's Mergers & Acquisitions - Dominican Republic 2014 chapter. She also serves as an active member of the Board of Directors of the OMG Foundation and of OMG Institute's Board of Regents. She is fluent in Spanish, English and French.
